The caves are located under the centre of the City of Nottingham. Many of the cave systems that are still accessible are private and therefore not generally open to the public. A few cave systems, such as those on Bridlesmith Gate, can be visited by prior arrangement while the Drury Hill Caves are open to the public.

| Bridlesmith Gate Caves | Bridlesmith Gate is one of the ancient streets in Nottingham. Many caves are known to have existed beneath Bridlesmith Gate although many are no longer accessible. The caves below numbers 48-54 Bridlesmith Gate were cleared by NHAS members during the 1970’s. |
| Drury Hill Caves | The eastern part of the Drury Hill cave system is open to the public as the Caves of Nottingham attraction in the Broadmarsh Shopping Centre. |
